Northwestern PA Orchid Society is an active and vital Orchid Society dedicated to educating its members in the art of orchid growing.
We welcome any and all orchid lovers and growers from beginner to expert, in and around Erie, County to the meetings and our annual show on Mother’s Day.
Major society events include monthly meetings, an orchid auction once a year, an annual show, a Holiday party and special outings and events organized by our members.
Yearly dues are $15. per member, $20 a year per household. We publish a monthly newsletter and maintain an orchid literature lending library at our meeting site. We welcome new members to bring plants for Show and Tell during the monthly meeting.

Dawn and Rich Schlote of Mystic Orchids will talk on "Wierd and Wonderful Orchids". These are not your grocery-store orchids. They will discuss catasetums, gongoras and other unusual orchids.
